Arnos Grove House
(now Southgate House and Lulworth Court)
Southgate house and Lulworth Court comprise the building that was originally called Arnos Grove House. The centre portion of the house was built in 1723 for James Colebrook and was bought by Isaac Walker in 1777. It remained in the hands of the Walker family for 141 years. The Walkers included in their ranks the seven brothers who played cricket and set up the Walker cricket grounds. In 1928 the building was sold to the North Metropolitan Electric Power Company as offices and the two wings were then added.

The walls and ceilings of the entrance hall in the mansion have murals of the triumphs of Julius Ceasar by G.Landscroon. The electric lamp standards outside came from the Wembley exhibition of 1924.
