SUMMARY:Christmas Tree Festival at Christ Church Southgate
DESCRIPTION:Friday 30th November to Sunday 2nd December 2018 \n  \nWe would like you to bring your ideas and inspiration to our second Christmas Tree Festival.  The Festival is raising funds for the Prison Fellowship and Clink Projects. \nThe theme will be Joy to the World\, so the trees will be decorated to illustrate a particular Christmas Carol of your choice.  We will provide a label giving the title of the carol depicted on your tree and the organisation that created it.  We are more than happy if you wish to display any leaflets or information about your organisation. \nPlease could you complete and return the attached form or email me with the details by 26th October\, so that we know what needs to be accommodated.  If we do not hear from you\, we may be unable to find space for your tree. \nLights can be used on your tree\, but will need to be battery powered as we can’t provide any electricity.  Trees can be real or artificial\, or even made out of anything to illustrate your carol in a “tree like” way – be as imaginative as possible.  Trees can either fit on a window sill or be floor standing. \nIf you have any questions or know of any other organisation who may wish to participate in this event\, please feel free to call me. \nThe timetable is as follows:- \nSetting Up – Thursday 29th November – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 30th November 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Tea and Coffee will be provided. \nChildren are welcome to help with the setting up of the trees\, but for health and safety reasons\, they must be supervised. \nOpening Hours \nFriday 30th November – 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. \nSaturday 1st December – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nSunday 2nd December – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. \nClearing Up – Sunday 2nd December – 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. after the Advent Carol Service and Monday 3rd December – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. \nWe hope that you will feel inspired to be a part of this community event and we look forward to welcoming you again to our second Christ Church\, Southgate Tree Festival. \nJudith Limbert \nchrichton@waitrose.com
