SUMMARY:Friends of Arnos Park Community Volunteer Groundforce Day
DESCRIPTION:Friends of Arnos Park volunteers meet on the last Saturday of the month in the community garden for their Groundforce Day between 10am and 1pm. \n \nSome volunteers come in addidtionally on other days – for instance\, there’s now a regular Thursday afternoon session in the Community Garden. \nAll these events are posted on our social media sites: Facebook – “Friends of Arnos Park London”\, Instagram – “The Friends of Arnos Park” \nThe Friends of Arnos Park are a very friendly group\, many long lasting friendships have blossomed within the group.  Refreshments are provided at our monthly ground forces. \nAlong with our regular community events; Summer Sizzler\, Halloween and Santa’s Grotto\, we are planning some social events for the volunteers in the community garden and sometimes a few of us will go to the Arnos Arms socially. \nThe Friends are a very inclusive group and we welcome members with disabilities and have recently erected raised beds to enable easier access for those less mobile.
