Say ‘No’ to Arnos Grove Controlled Parking Zone

August 28, 2024 by Rita Faherty

Enfield Council is consulting on the introduction of a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) covering the area from The Green, Southgate to Station Road, New Southgate and from Waterfall Road down to the North Circular. The CPZ will apply 7 days a week, from 8.00am to 7.30pm, meaning only residents in the CPZ  area will be able to park there and only if they buy a parking permit.  The roads near retail outlets will become ‘pay to park’.

This will severely impact shops, businesses, religious venues, community meeting spaces in and around the CPZ.  It will also severely impact residents of the CPZ, people living in the surrounding roads and anyone using the retail outlets at The Green. The link below provides more detail, the consultation is open until Friday 13th September.
